We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Manager to oversee a supported housing service across northern Nottinghamshire. As a Housing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities and ensuring the well-being of residents. If you have experience in working with the homeless, young adults, or vulnerable groups within social housing and possess strong leadership and organisational skills, we encourage you to apply. Duties: - Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of supported accommodation units - Work closely with the maintenance teams to ensure properties are both turned around quickly for new residents but also are maintained to a high standard - Manage the budget for your service area - Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines - Be pro-active in managing personal charges, housing benefit claims, occupancy, managing periods of voids and working closely - Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and well-being - Manage the KPI's and analyse the data to prepare reports to provide insight on the effectiveness and performance of this service area - Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff Requirements: - Proven experience in working within the provision of a supported housing service - Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively - Excellent organisational and time management skills - Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and support workers - Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others
