Family Domestic Abuse Support Adviser in Mid Cornwall working directly with families where there is a risk of harm due to domestic abuse.
You will be based directly in Cornwall Council's social work teams offering direct case work to whole families where domestic abuse is identified and work in partnership with social care staff.

We are actively seeking a Band 7 Sonographer to join a private service in Cornwall; the post holder is expected to have strong experience within obstetrics.
To be successful in this role, you will need valid HCPC registration.
The post holder will help conduct relevant obstetric ultrasound examinations and provide accurate reports on this to the Lead Sonographer.
The Community Health Independent Domestic Violence Advisor will
Raise awareness of the integrated service and domestic abuse and Sexual Violence to health practitioners as well as helping other services identify and respond to those experiencing domestic abuse.
Take referrals from clinicians in response to routine enquiry or other disclosure and provide a timely response.
Be part of the CIOS integrated service with a focus on supporting victims of domestic abuse within the Health response.
The Helpline provides a single point of contact and gateway for victims and survivors who have experienced domestic abuse within Cornwall.
The Helpline Response Team provide a support and assessment service to domestic abuse victims by conducting telephone-based risk assessments, safety plans, information and advice as well as appropriate onward referrals within the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence pathways and Safeguarding.
The post holder will be expected to receive referrals, input data, keep up to date case notes and records, contact clients referred to the Helpline by professionals, the public, the police and self-referrals, and provide a pro-active service to all victims of domestic abuse.
