A long established logistics company based just outside of Maidstone are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to work night shifts, Monday to Friday, 12.00am (midnight) to 8.30am. This is an ongoing, temporary role which may lead to a permanent position after 12 weeks for the right candidates, subject to performance, time keeping and attitude Your main duties will include unloading parcels and sorting them in to relevant post code areas. The work is very manual and includes heavy lifting. You will be numerate and literate, a team player and self motivated. Job Title: Arts and crafts warehouse Operative in a lead workshop Shift: Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm. Pay Rate: £11-44 per hour - Weekly pay with a week in hand. Contract: Temporary to Permanent Responsibilities: You will be an essential part of a team creating designs onto glass bespoke windows with lead and coloured gel glass material- copied from a tracing. While previous similar experience is preferred, we welcome individuals with a keen eye for detail and of the artistic side with a lot of patience. On-site training will be provided. Key Requirements: Strong attention to detail. Patient as could be working on one piece of artwork for 3 hours at a time Ability to work flexible hours, Monday to Friday.
