You will be operating within a busy warehouse for a well known electrical company. working day shifts Monday - Friday with optional overtime both through the week and on weekends. Within this role you will be expected to check and scan product as it is delivered to the warehouse. Move in bound deliveries across the site. Have basic understanding and experience using computers/Excel. Stock, count and move various equipment across the site. Communicate and coordinate with management clearly. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a diligent and proactive Warehouse Operative who will be able to support productivity and shunt equipment in line with the business needs. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to fill the role of Warehouse Operative. Role Responsibilities To prepare loads in the warehouse or directly onto vehicles ready for the next day delivery. To demonstrate good attention to detail when picking products ensuring the correct products are picked and delivery notes are checked and completed in full. To ensure all vehicles are loaded in a safe, correct, and acceptable manner ensuring all deliveries arrive in a manner which meets our customers' expectations. To support team leaders and supervisors to assist with resolving production issues as and when required. To ensure all the correct manual handling procedures and techniques are followed. Person Attributes Previous Warehouse experience is desired. Previous experience of manufacturing uPVC Windows and Doors, composite doors, gables, bi-folds, and patios in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is desired. A full driving license is preferable but not essential. Exceptional attention to detail. A strong team player with a "can do" attitude and a proactive approach to work. The ability to demonstrate effective time management with a flexible approach to working hours. A proactive approach to work with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload. A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work.
