To support the Principal Network Planning Officers, Team Leader and Head of Service to ensure that all notices, licence and permit applications received satisfy legislative specifications and that Council objectives are achieved.
To work as part of the Network Management team in accordance with statutory requirements and in compliance with relevant Council policies and procedures.
Represent the Council as an officer to educate and work in partnership with relevant organisations to enhance the safety and well-being of the public.
Spearheading the development, configuration and optimization of core network and telecommunication infrastructures (LAN, WAN, WLAN, telephony systems).

A challenging opportunity for an experienced Network Architect to lead the design, deployment and support of advanced network and unified communications systems within the public sector.
This role requires deep technical expertise in network and telephony services and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across all levels, ensuring that critical infrastructure meets the evolving needs of users and supports vital organisational objectives.
The role will require booking planned works in 6 months in advance and ad hoc maintenance, repair and installation visits, the planning coordinator is also responsible for route planning, booking hotel accommodation.
Our client specialises in installation and maintenance of security equipment and work nationally with their clients, they now, due to growth require another planning coordinator to join their team.
This role is office based and is located in South West Leeds with great access to motorway networks.
