Your core role as Network Engineer involves ensuring the stability and integrity of the organisations in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services. This is an interesting role that will be heavily projects based within a firm that offers great career progression. Responsibilities: Provide advanced support for the Corporate Network infrastructure and associated software. Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex network problems for a variety of end users, recommending and implementing corrective solutions. Monitor and identify health and performance issues for the LAN/WAN to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation. Monitor, maintain & troubleshoot Savills' Wifi Estate. Advise on the quantity and placement of wireless APs, for new implementations. Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to ensure swift resolution to incidents, demonstrating a high level of expertise. Play a key role in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future network needs. Conduct on-going review of services and implement recommendations to enhance network performance. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and documentation for all network systems. Skills: At least 5 years experience of working in medium to enterprise scale environment working to ITIL and Prince 2 frameworks. Advanced understanding of infrastructure fundamentals: IP services (DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, IPv4, IPv6), PKI & networking concepts (switching, routing, firewalls). Advanced understanding of VPN/LAN/WAN and WIFI technologies. Good working knowledge of Azure cloud networking Accreditation to vendor level for switching and routing products. Due to growth they're looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer As a Senior Network Engineer within the IT Infrastructure team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the business critical network systems. You will play a crucial role in detecting, investigating, and responding to network-related events and incidents. This involves closely monitoring the network infrastructure, identifying any issues or anomalies, and taking appropriate action to resolve them as well as spearheading new technology implementation. This role will be projects focused on infrastructure upgrades and improvements. This could include activities such as network design and implementation, network equipment procurement and configuration, network performance optimization, and ensuring network security and compliance with industry standards. Experience troubleshooting LAN and WAN infrastructure in a corporate environment, working with platforms such as HPE, Aruba, Dell, and Palo Alto products.
