Job Purpose
To provide a professional operational news service for the client, on a 24-hour basis, with the aim of increasing public confidence, helping communities understand the work of the client and helping them deliver its strategy and objectives.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Demonstrable experience of working in a busy press office environment for a large organisation.
To recover, edit, redact, preserve, analyse, enhance and report upon multi-media CCTV evidence (digital and analogue) taken or seized from crime scenes, for the investigative and judicial process to evidential standards.
To attend crime scenes to recover CCTV evidence and associated equipment.
To provide a Multimedia Forensic Service to the South West Regional Forces.
Taking a Prevention First approach to contribute to achieving the vision, purpose and values of Hertfordshire Constabulary through supporting the Constabulary's media relations and public relations activity.
Assisting with the design and implementation of crime prevention and other public focussed police campaigns.
Advising officers and staff on the best communication methods.
