The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a variety of consumer big brand clients and a number of junior staff. Clients within the consultancy cover food and drink, retail, entertainment, leisure, hospitality, FMCG and tourism clients As an ambassador for the consultancy candidates should possess a detailed knowledge of the media, marketplace, trends, competitor activity, and business in general. Your planning and organisational skills should be of the highest standard, as well as the ability to work under the constant stresses and strains created by working in a fast paced and demanding field. You should be able to liaise with the client at a senior level, having earned respect as a seasoned professional who is in charge of their account on a day-to-day basis. Accomplish Today's client is looking for an experienced National Accounts Manager to manage the sales process for forklift trucks and other material handling equipment to national customers. About The Role The role involves selling materials handling solutions and providing excellent levels of customer service to large national businesses. On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing: Develop new business and expand business in existing accounts either individually or in partnership with a colleague Ensure selected accounts are visited regularly and developed to increase sales and revenues Use CRM and IT systems to maximise performance Develop strategic account plans for key businesses to retain and win new business Work closely with other internal departments including logistics solutions (automation and racking), hand pallet trucks and short-term hire to develop business with target accounts Selling finance and service packages to potential clients Managing the full sales cycle Our client is looking for a self-motivated person with a strong track record within a national sales environment, preferably in business to business (B2B) sales. Experience selling materials handling or capital equipment would be beneficial, but don't worry if you don't as full product training will be given.
