Position: Nursery Assistant Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Responsibilities: Planning and Supervising Activities: As a nursery assistant, you'll be responsible for organizing and overseeing fun and educational activities for children. This includes creating a positive curriculum that promotes learning and development. Daily Schedule Management: You'll manage the daily schedule, ensuring that activities, toilet breaks, lunch, and rest time are well-coordinated. Observation and Documentation: Keep an eye on children's behaviour and take notes when necessary. This helps in identifying any problematic behaviour or developmental milestones. Feeding and Diaper Changes: Attend to babies' needs by feeding them and changing diapers. Communication: Regularly communicate with parents and other staff members to provide updates on children's progress and address any concerns. Safety: Ensure the safety of all children under your care. Language and Numeracy Development: Engage children in activities that help them learn language and numeracy skills. Requirements: Previous childcare experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities. Must have the right to work in the UK.
