Your new job as a 111 Health Advisor Our health advisors for our NHS 111 service are the first point of contact for patients in Wakefield, patients' relatives and healthcare professionals when they call for urgent medical advice. By using NHS Pathways software to record patient details and basic clinical information, they assess their condition and ensure they are directed to the most appropriate healthcare professional or service. Wild Recruitment are seeking a 111 Call Handler who can work fully flexible hours for the NHS 111 Team based in Wakefield. This service is open 24/7 and the position is based in the office. Training Hours: You must be available for 10 weeks Full time Training (8am - 4pm OR 4pm - Midnight) Candidates must be available for 12 weeks without any upcoming holiday. You must have a flexible approach to working hours - All Rota's will include a mixture of shifts including nights, early's 3/4 weekends and 6/8 Bank holidays. Please note the Rota's are given to you 5 weeks in Advance. Hourly Rate: Weekdays - Hours worked between 06:00am - 20.00pm during first 12 weeks £11.44 P/H. Nights - Hours worked between 20:00pm to 06.00am and Saturday shifts during the first 12 weeks £15.44 P/H. Sunday and Bank Holidays during the first 12 weeks £19.33 P/H. Please note all Pay rates are increased in your 13th week once training has been completed . What you will be doing as a call handler: You will be giving people advise and help manage their symptoms telephonically. You will be using a software to record patient's basic clinical information. You will direct patient's to the most appropriate health care professional once the condition is assessed. No Previous experience needed as full training will be provided.
