Role overview As a Retail Optical Assistant at Vision Express, you'll assist our customers in finding and selecting eyewear that meets their needs. You'll help with frame adjustments, repairs, and fittings. Additionally, you may perform some pre-screening eye examinations and administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, supporting the phone lines from customer queries and processing payments. Overall, your goal is to provide excellent customer service and ensure that our customers leave happy, with eyewear that fits properly and meets their vision needs. You'll play a key part in our mission of helping our customers to See More and Be More' by providing tailored and effective service, to help customers maximise their visual potential and enhance their lifestyle. Your new role As the Head of Service Management, you will play a crucial role in leading the IT Service Management (ITSM) practices. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the organisation's IT services are designed, transitioned, managed, improved, and secured in alignment with industry standards such as ITIL V4, ISO 20000, and ISO 27001. You will oversee critical areas including Service Design, Service Transition, Continual Service Improvement (CSI), Live Support, and third-party vendor management. Your strategic leadership and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be essential to ensure the delivery of services in accordance with SLA and KPI agreements. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in successfully delivering Service Management within an Azure environment. Certification at the level of ITIL V3 Expert, V4 Managing Professional, or ISO 20000 Practitioner. Demonstrable experience in managing third-party vendors and ensuring compliance with IT and security standards. Extensive experience in managing teams across the ITIL lifecycle.
