Technical Sales Manager Sheerness, Kent, Southeast UK Full time / Permanent Office and Field based role Competitive Salary, company car/allowance Excellent benefits Company: New Cementitious Products Imports and Distribution Company My client an imports and Distribution company are currently in the process of establishing a new cementitious products terminal in the UK, located in Sheerness, Kent, which will serve the demand in the South East market. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Manager to support our sales efforts and oversee our quality management system, and maintain testing procedures to ensure excellence in our product offerings. Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy Implementation: Execute a sales strategy tailored to the South East UK market. 2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by leveraging technical expertise and product knowledge. Conduct regular meetings to understand client needs, provide technical guidance, and offer solutions to meet their requirements. 3. Product Representation: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, effectively communicating the technical features and benefits of our cementitious products. Demonstrate product performance and suitability for various applications. 4. Quality Management: Manage and oversee the company's quality management and testing procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 5. Market Compliance: Collaborate with the Operations Manager, suppliers, and appointed technical laboratory to develop and manage a quality information system. Ensure ongoing compliance with market regulations and standards. 6. Sales Forecasting: Work closely with the Managing Director and other stakeholders to develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets, aligning with company objectives and growth targets. 7. Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients and internal teams, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and offering expert guidance on product usage and application. 8. Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Use insights to refine sales strategies and enhance product positioning. Requirements: 1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales or laboratory cement and cementitious background or concrete products environment, in the construction or building materials industry. 2. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cementitious products or concrete products, including their properties, applications, and performance characteristics. Experience in laboratory testing and quality management is highly desirable. 3. Sales Acumen: Proven track record of driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets in a technical environment. 4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. 5. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the capacity to identify and address client needs. 6. Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external partners to achieve common goals. 7. Job Title: Arts and crafts warehouse Operative in a lead workshop Shift: Monday - Friday, 6am-2pm. Pay Rate: £11-44 per hour - Weekly pay with a week in hand. Contract: Temporary to Permanent Responsibilities: You will be an essential part of a team creating designs onto glass bespoke windows with lead and coloured gel glass material- copied from a tracing. While previous similar experience is preferred, we welcome individuals with a keen eye for detail and of the artistic side with a lot of patience. On-site training will be provided. Key Requirements: Strong attention to detail. Patient as could be working on one piece of artwork for 3 hours at a time Ability to work flexible hours, Monday to Friday.
