My client a well established manufacturing company based in Blackburn is looking for an experienced Warehouse Worker with experience on a Counterbalance FLT. The working hours are on a permanent back shift working 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday. Responsibilities: - Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment - Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials - Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently - Perform inventory counts and maintain warehouse organization - Operate warehouse management system to track inventory and shipments - Assist with equipment repair and maintenance as needed - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Skills: - Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment - Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes - Basic math skills for inventory counts and order accuracy - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks - Strong materials handling skills to ensure proper storage and organization in the warehouse Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm Pay: From £11.75 per hour Benefits: Company pension Free parking On-site parking Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekend availability Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred) CPCS (preferred) Work Location: In person

What do I need? - No experience is needed as a full 2-day technical service familiarisation seminar available, at a site local to you. You do not need your own vehicle and there is no initial outlay of any cost. We do however require the following (essential): Held a full UK Manual Driver Licence for at least 2 years (registered to your current home address). No more than 9 points on your licence (and no serious motoring offences). Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes). Are punctual and reliable with a polite and professional demeanour. Excellent customer service skills. What will I be doing? - You will be collecting a variety of different vehicles from clients, checking they are safe for you to drive and delivering these to the required destination. On some occasions you may carry out an inspection on the vehicles. Handling vehicles with care and professionalism. Keeping clients informed of estimated arrival time and any possible delays.
