Mortgage Administrator London - Hybrid We are currently recruiting for a Mortgage Administrator for a growing London based Broker. We are looking for a candidate with at least 6 months of Mortgage Admin experience, who is looking for a new challenge. Responsibilities: Inputting of mortgage applications. Sending packaging requirements to the lender after application has been submitted. Creating tasks, records and reminders on Intelligent Office. Ensuring all documents are scanned to the activity, prior to and post offer. Creating invoices where applicable. Adding of fees to consultants' figures. Ensuring MI is up to date on relevant spreadsheets. Sending out of re-broke letters to clients. Ensuring that files are compliant post completion. Chasing lenders where required, and providing updates to clients where required to support the Consultants and Mortgage Executives. Updating of notes on Intelligent Office where applicable. Ensuring we have new business packs, i.e. Factfinds /Fee Agreements, and New Business checklist to pass to consultants ahead of meetings. We are currently recruiting for a highly regarded Wealth Management company in London who are looking to recruit a Mortgage Administrator to join their team. Purpose of role To work within a close-knit, ambitious, and busy team, providing direct administrative support to the Mortgage Team. The role will involve dealing with all associated administration for mortgage and protection business from application stage through to completion and servicing both existing and new clients. The team are currently processing around 20 applications per month, completing approximately £40,000 of procuration fees, therefore a high level of attention to detail, work productivity and the ability to deliver exceptional client service are key. This role reports to the Mortgage Director. Accountabilities New business applications and general administration Submitting and processing of mortgage, protection and equity release business Liaise with product providers to ensure all applications are received and completed, and attend to any outstanding requirements Preparation and sending of documentation via DocuSign Produce suitability letters for the Mortgage Advisor Enter new cases on Intelligent Office and keeping mortgage data up to date Maintain the mortgage department's resource library e.g. replenishing Terms of Business,Factfinds, etc, when required Ensure acceptance terms and mortgage offers are received as promptly as possible, and check these against applications/illustrations Submit applications with relevant Money Laundering requirements and any other supporting documentation Link all incoming and outgoing documentation and correspondence onto client files in a timely manner, including all written and electronic communication, supporting evidence, conversations and emails with clients, and conversations with providers Ensure electronic client files are organised, updated, easily accessible and compliant Ensure the task module of Intelligent Office is reviewed and kept up-to-date in terms of tracking and monitoring the processing stages of each application Experience and Qualifications The successful candidate will: Have been in a similar role for at least 1 year, ideally working within the mortgage industry Have good general knowledge of life and mortgage related products and legislation Demonstrate an understanding of the provision of advice to clients in a compliant manner and an understanding of record keeping requirements Ideally, be familiar with mortgage CRMs and sourcing systems Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (computer literacy is a pre-requisite for this role) Be a confident communicator and demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with others, delivering a consistently high level of service to clients Mortgage qualifications are advantageous but not essential Location: Farringdon, London (2-3 days a week). Please bear in mind that there will be more office presence during the initial training period.
