Role Description: Reporting to the Accounts Manager, the Accounts Assistant will assist the team with the day-to-day financial operations of the identified companies in the group and provide support to the wider team as required. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Accounts Manager in the smooth operation and reconciliation of the Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledgers for the identified companies within the Group. Inputting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy. Processing BACS payments, purchase orders and invoice authorisation. Dealing with enquiries relating to purchases and suppliers. Generating sales invoices and responding to queries of customers. Responsible for the analysis and administrative tasks for the identified companies within the Group. Processing monthly CIS and quarterly VAT returns Support the Accounts Manager with any other ad hoc tasks/projects requested. To support all other finance functions across the companies. Work in line with all procedures and processes and support the audit and continuous improvement of the companies OHSQE integrated management system
Role Description: Reporting to the Head of Central Group Operations, the Accounts Manager will manage and support the day-to-day financial operations of the companies within the Group, as well as companies owned partly or entirely by the company. Key Responsibilities: To oversee the keying of day-to-day financial data and reconciliation of the identified company's associated with The Group accounting software and to monitor all financial transactions for accuracy. Oversee, manage and assist in the professional development of junior members of the Accounts Team, including delivery of HR matters. Deliver monthly budget analysis reports to budget holders across all companies. To process all quarterly VAT returns, and CIS payroll returns using the company software. Preparing quarterly management accounts and other financial board reports for Senior Management Analyse and reconcile monthly intercompany recharges Deliver services to other companies owned partly or entirely by The Group in accordance with SLAs and other formal agreements. Deliver ad hoc tasks relating to acquisitions, disposals, and other key transactions on portfolio assets To continually monitor and improve accounting processes and support the companies where necessary. Provide a visible leadership function as part of the line management team. Complete all HR responsibilities expected as part of the management team. Ad hoc projects as set by the senior management team. This role is full-time office based at their offices in Stockton, Warwickshire and the hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
