Vehicle Technician Location: Bradford OC17363 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday (40 hours) Salary: £32,000 Bonus We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic for our client in the Bradford area. You must be able to bring a high attention to detail. The right individual must be confident and professional in their approach while being someone who can be efficient and always first time fix. Vehicle Technician duties: You'll be working alongside experienced Vehicle Technician and learn to perform vehicle service maintenance and repair. You'll be performing safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance and minor repairs as directed. Replenishes supplies as requested by technicians or service manager. Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Attends training classes and departmental meetings. You must be confident in your ability to adapt into the fast-paced environment and high standards of this main dealership. Vehicle Technician Requirements: The desire to be a Vehicle Technician, possibly have your NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair An interest to motor trade and vehicles. Field Service Technician to cover the north of the UK, ideally based in Leeds / M62 corridor. Jobs per day Average repair time' per call is around 4 hours. Usually 1-2 calls per day. Salary range between £32K and £ 37K - starting salary will be determined upon skills and experience Working hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday Paid OT when applicable Car allowance at £7,200 p.a. or a car allowance Mission: To be company's front-line support for customer engagement on maintenance, knowledge, optimization, and performance of assigned printing equipment and ensure customers can utilize this equipment at the highest level of efficiency and uptime. Position Summary: The Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining optimal performance and uptime of assigned printing equipment in a professional and customer centric approach. This role must complete expert level training for assigned products and be able to perform onsite customer engagements including installation, troubleshooting, break fix service, preventative maintenance, performance optimization and standard operating procedure (SOP) operator training to ensure all equipment is operating at the highest level of performance upon service engagement completion. Desired Requirements: High school / Primary technical education required and associate level technical college degree or greater preferred. 1 to 3 years' experience in a break fix service environment preferred. Up to 85% travel required within assigned territory/region. Maintenance of a clear and safe driving record.
