Monitor stock levels and make necessary adjustments to prevent stockouts and overstocks. Work closely with the buying team to plan and forecast for future product buying. Analyse sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs. Plan and monitor store layouts to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc. Prepare and present reports on merchandising performance. Profile A successful Merchandising Manager should have: A relevant degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role in the retail industry.
