Description Planning and developing merchandising strategies. Analysing sales figures, market trends and customer behaviour to determine product needs. Building buy proposals to ensure continuity of supply. Presentation of proposals at buy meetings. Collaborate with product team, suppliers and distributors to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales. Maintaining and tracking inventory, including tracking and co-ordination of inbound freight. Assess warehouse capacity and intake availability. Management of product in our ERP system, including generation of the purchase order and setting up of new products ahead of launch. Determining the need for and implementing product promotions, price changes, mark downs, clear outs, etc. Profile Proven working experience in merchandising. Strong numerical and analytical skills to identify stock discrepancies and troubleshoot inventory issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with the wider team and outside of the business. Experience using an ERP system Ability to work independently and proactively. Attention to detail for ensuring stock accuracy.
