Remedy Tutors are looking for experienced, flexible tutors to join our team based in Beckenham. These children will be high SEN and will need a tutor who has a vast background in working with SEN students and can deal with needs such as ADHD and ASD and behavioural issues. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in Bromley up to 15 hours a week per student. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students with diverse learning styles, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN). Create and implement personalised lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student engagement and understanding. Assess and monitor student's progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student's educational development. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tutoring sessions and student progress. Requirements: A preferred background in and SEN (Special Educational Needs) experience, with a strong understanding of differentiated instruction. Proficient in teaching core subjects to students of various age groups and ability levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and establish a positive learning environment. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles and needs.
