Job title: Social Worker, Adults Community Mental Health Job Type: Full time, Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: £31,372 - £41,438 Purpose: Work directly with individuals and families to help them make changes and problem solve. Responsibilities and Duties: Assessing clients' mental health needs and developing treatment plans Providing individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, prevention, and education Collaborating with other professionals in health, social care, housing, employment, and other sectors to coordinate and integrate services for clients Safeguarding the rights and welfare of clients and their families, especially those who are at risk of harm or discrimination Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of the work done with clients, using the relevant systems and tools Participating in regular supervision, training, and team meetings, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the service Adhering to the professional standards, codes of practice, and ethical principles of social work. Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A commitment to person-centred and strength-based practice A flexible and adaptable approach to work A willingness to learn and develop your skills Experience: Relevant post-qualification experience in adults social work within a statutory, voluntary, or independent sector organisation. Qualifications: CQSW / DIPSW / Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
