Female Support Worker - Driver Search Health-care are working with a Nationally Recognised Health-care Provider to source a number of experienced Mental health support workers for a Bradford based low secure mental health unit to provide support to vulnerable young adults. The Role: The emphasis of this job will be working on different wards covering female wards. You will be supporting young individuals with severe mental health difficulties.You will be expected to work flexible shifts.The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months previous experience working as a mental health support worker with previous experience with acute mental health. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates who have previously completed MAPA/PMVA training.You will be expected to work regular weekend shifts. The emphasis of this job will be working with vulnerable young adults supporting their daily activities and caring for them. It will be required of you to work long shifts, including nights. Your availability must be flexible in order to guarantee that service users receive support on a daily basis. Some service users may have mental health difficulties it is essential you have prior experience with mental health.The ideal applicant will have worked as a support worker in a similar supported living environment for at least six months.It is essential you have previous experience working with young adults aged 16 - 24 year old.
