The Occupational Therapist (OT) in Acute Medicine and Accident & Emergency (A&E) provides specialized, person-centered care to patients in high-acuity settings.
This role focuses on the rapid assessment, treatment, and planning of occupational therapy interventions for individuals with urgent medical needs.
The OT will play a critical role in promoting safety, independence, and improved quality of life for patients while ensuring continuity of care from the hospital setting to home or rehabilitation facilities.
This role will be supporting children with complex learning difficulties, children who may require medical intervention and personal care.
We are looking for a passionate individual who has either experience or a passion to work with children with SEND, particularly Complex Needs; PMLD, Hearing impairment, speech and language difficulties, and severe mobility issues.
