Title: Mechanical Engineer. Location: Birmingham/London Salary: Up to £45K. We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. Core responsibilities include: Design solutions to meet technical, quality, time and cost requirements (SolidWorks CAD) Undertaking appropriate calculations and analysis to prove suitability of mechanical designs Producing engineering detail drawings and other associated documentation necessary for product certification, manufacture, installation and service Verification, validation and development of designs from initial concept to volume manufacture Working effectively with other company departments and external suppliers to realise complex technical solutions in a volume production environment Any other duties deemed reasonable, which reasonably correspond to the general character of the role and level of responsibility. Requirements: Qualified to a minimum of HNC or Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, with suitable post-qualification experience within a Design & Development engineering environment.
