As the Materials Controller you will be responsible for the placement and scheduling of purchase orders for a range of materials, including chemicals, facing, packaging and consumable items used in our manufacturing process at our 4 UK sites and to maintain the correct inventory levels of these materials.
Responsibilities of our Materials Controller
Identify raw material requirements, raise purchase orders in SAP and distribute to suppliers.
Review MRP and react to changes in raw material requirements to ensure continuity of supply and correct levels of inventory are maintained.
You will be responsible for the placement and scheduling of purchase orders for a range of materials, including chemicals, facing, packaging and consumable items used in our manufacturing process and to maintain the correct inventory levels of these materials.
As the Materials Controller you will be working in the Operations Team, based at our Castleblayney site working 39 hours per week.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Review Material requirements planning (MRP) system, this includes making communication with Sales teams and Production Planning and tracking project requirements.
