Reed Food & FMCG are currently recruiting for a number of Production Operative roles, working for a busy team in Ambient produce, based in Great Yarmouth. The roles are either Days or Nights. The full role details can be found below: Production Operative Days and Nights £30,000 per annum, rising to £34,000 per annum once fully trained Norwich The shift pattern is 2 days (6am 6pm) 2 nights (6pm 6am) 4 days off rotating Responsibilities: Responsible for production on the shift raw materials, end product, packing, palletisation, machine care and the condition of work areas. Check and measure product dimensions and adjust machinery where necessary. Take remedial action to meet specified standards. Check the consistency, moisture and quality of the product and where required record details and necessary make adjustments. Maintain the specified standard of cleanliness of machinery, equipment and surrounding areas, including the floors. Ensure all relevant information regarding gaps, product changes, problems etc. are communicated to relevant personnel engaged in packing activities to segregate good and bad product and minimize wastage. Select raw ingredients and mixing quantities for each of the different products. Activating automatic filling/mixing cycle and the correct operation of the bulk handling system. Minimum Experience required: Some production/warehouse experience would be great but not needed. Full training provided.
