Stand-by and overtime This role is a reactive position and offers the ability to earn standby and overtime, in addition to the basic salary advertised. Stand-by would typically be worked at least one day per week, this would attract an additional stand-by payment for the Technician. In the event of a call out, Technicians will receive overtime payments per hour for work carried out. This is at a rate of time and one half for work conducted before midnight and double time for any work conducted after midnight. What does it take to be an Electrical Asset Technician? Your ability to learn quickly and use your own initiative to solve problems is essential for this role and you will train alongside an experienced Technician to ensure you gain all the skills and knowledge required.? You'll also work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to manage and control multiple complex water treatment works.?
