Electrical Maintenance Engineer Northampton £42,000 6am to 2pm 2pm to 10pm Due to sustained growth and increased product demand, we are looking to recruit team players with a positive can-do attitude. Practical, hands on, good communication skills, with a willingness to work flexibly and attention to good housekeeping. Working in a fast-paced manual environment, the role is to maintain, service and repair all machinery used in the manufacturing process on site minimise production down time. maintaining a high standard of housekeeping Conduct PPM's when required. Ideally you will have a manufacturing background, but it is not essential. Apprentice trained, electrically qualified as a minimum. Ability to read engineering diagrams/drawings, and control circuits/schematics. Experience with DC/AC Drives, electrical hoists, and 3 phase motors. Experience with safety and light circuits, inverters, PLC systems, relays, and speed control systems. Experience with working with sensors. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic control systems is advantageous. A mechanical understanding of gearboxes, pumps, and pneumatics would be advantageous.
