Order Administrator Location - Sittingbourne, Kent Salary - Highly competitive based on experience Hours - Monday - Thursday 8.45 am - 5 pm, Friday 8.45 am - 3.15 pm Our client is an established, respected specialist manufacturer who has been established for over 50 years supplying a variety of industries. As the Order Administrator , your responsibilities would include: Promptly answering the telephone and assisting the caller with their enquiry or order Monitor order progression, and liaise with colleagues to ensure that customers' orders are dispatched according to their expectations Quotations, order, and export processing are a major part of this position and attention to detail is paramount to ensure that our customers receive prompt and accurate support Deliver first-class customer service, foster a team spirit and promote company ethos with colleagues Work closely with internal and external colleagues to ensure customers receive a first-class service Delivering first-class customer service is key to the success of the company This role is part of the Customer Support Team (CST) which entails engaging with the customer at all stages of their enquiry, order, and dispatch Being an integral part of the Customer Support Team, the role is pivotal to the success and continued growth of sales globally Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, this is an active and demanding role calling for multiple disciplines including time management, attention to detail, organisational, and excellent communication skills to ensure customers receive prompt, accurate, and timely responses Build relationships with customers so that they prioritise the company as their first point of contact for future purchasing requirements Person specifications for the role of Order Administrator Previous experience in Administration and quoting roles would be highly useful Must be good at dealing with client queries and issues Experience with CRM systems would be useful Must have a high level of numeracy and English Ideally, you will have previous experience in dealing with team/customer service settings The ability to identify and confirm technical specifications would be useful Must be able to work to deadlines Benefits 25 days holiday plus a Bank Holiday and your birthday off.
