We are seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to oversee quality control processes in a fast-paced engineering industry setting. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of quality control procedures and has a passion for coaching and developing teams. Client Details Our client is a prominent player in the Engineering & Manufacturing industry, boasting a strong presence in the UK with over 1,000 employees. They are renowned for their commitment to excellence in Engineering & Manufacturing, and are based in the East Coast of Scotland. Description The Quality Manager will provide support to the manufacturing and service business units by implementing Quality Management System (QMS) & related tools /processes to accelerate business results, as well as identify, measure and improve key performance indicators. ? Effectively manages a team of quality specialists (technicians, engineers and senior engineers) and may manage support teams. Implement and improve current quality control standards. Develop and maintain quality management systems. Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement. Manage quality control audits and inspections. Provide training and support to team members in quality management. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Report on quality control metrics and present data-driven insights. Profile A successful Quality Manager should have: A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field. Proven experience in a Quality Manager role, preferably in the retail industry. Significant experience in Quality Engineering/Continuous Improvement role with demonstrable evidence of systems and process improvement. Must have extensive working knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS requirements. Experience of managing and working in an environment such as oil & gas products, manufacturing, automotive, medical devices, is preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using quality management software. Job Offer An attractive salary ranging from £55k - £63k per year. Comprehensive benefits package.
