I am seeking a Estimator who has worked within the Engineering Industry.
The key function of the Estimator is to provide a service to our client's customers to ensure the competitiveness and profitability meet the needs of both the clients and their end users.
Our client based near St Ives, Cambridgeshire are looking for an established Estimator to join their team.
As a Managing Estimator you will be responsible for providing quotations for the large range of Painting Enquiries the company receives.
General
They handle all types of Painting and Decorating Projects from values of £1,000.00 up to £1,000,000.00.Their Projects greatly vary and include all types of commercial buildings, maintenance works, industrial works and retail works.
The company are a Derby based firm with National Coverage.
Role Summary: As a Managing Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our company by providing quotations for a wide range of painting enquiries.
Your responsibilities will include pricing bills of quantities/schedules of rates, conducting take-offs from provided drawings, and assembling competitive tender packages by the required deadline.
This dynamic position will involve both office-based tasks and site visits.
Our client a well established main contractor are currently looking for a Senior / Managing Estimator to be involved in the preparation of tenders with values upto £3million including new build and refurbishment works.
Main Purpose of the Role
To produce priced tenders that are accurate, clearly detailed, competitive and returned within deadlines through co-operation with the pre-construction team.
Maintain good relationships with prospective clients and professionals and to promote further tender invitations and provide clearly identified price build-ups to the Contract team.
Due to impressive company growth, our client, a specialist fire and security systems business, is looking to add an Estimator to their business.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Estimator will be vital to the financial and technical aspects of ongoing and new projects by providing detailed cost analyses and estimations of projects and responding to tenders and client requests.
