ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT PART-TIME We have an immediate opening for an experienced Accounts Assistant to assist with a variety of accounting tasks on a part-time basis. Note that this is a temp to perm opportunity. This is an office-based role for 20-25 hours a week over 4 days. Exact hours can be discussed to suit both parties. Salary up to £14ph depending on experience Key responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant include, Sales Ledger activities including checking web order payments, invoicing, posting incoming payments, processing refunds, and credit control Purchase Ledger activities processing invoices and supplier payments and reconciling supplier statements and preparing payment run Monitoring the accounts mailboxes and actioning and responding to emails Reconciling accounts and preparing reports Participating in month end and year end tasks as required and ensuring deadlines are met Petty Cash reconciliations & postings The ideal Accounts Assistant will need the following, Previous accounts work experience in a similar role Excel skills including vlookup/sumif/pivot, experience of SAP useful but not essential as training on this will be given Excellent verbal and written communication skills Numerate with attention for detail Interpersonal skills, to build relationships with customers and colleagues Organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload effectively Understand the importance of confidentiality Able to perform data input with accuracy Have a full UK driving licence and own vehicle (free on-site parking) This role would suit an experienced and skilled Accounts Assistant with immediate availability to take up this position on a temp to perm part-time basis.
