The company are a successful FMCG business and due to continued growth and investment, they are looking for 4x Team Leaders to join. The shifts are rotational, 4 on 4 off, with 2 weeks of days followed by 2 weeks of nights. As a Production Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production line. Key Responsibilities: Leading and effectively managing a team of General and Machine Operators, fostering a culture of performance and teamwork. Ensuring adherence to defined standards of performance and behaviour, while continuously measuring and optimising line performance. Organising and executing product changeovers efficiently to minimise downtime and maximise productivity. Collaborating closely with the Supervisor to achieve shift KPIs and promptly escalate any issues. Maintaining 100% compliance with Food Safety Regulations, quality standards and safety protocols. Key Skills: Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. A responsible attitude, remaining calm under pressure and confidently addressing challenges. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal and proficiency in using computer or IT equipment. They are looking for someone that can identify and streamline company procedures in order for the business to operate more efficiently and profitably. As a Continuous Improvement Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing performance and efficiency across our client's manufacturing site. Key Responsibilities: Leading performance-driven initiatives to drive out waste and inefficiency, utilising the site's digital systems and proven improvement methodology. Managing and controlling process lines efficiently, collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and flexibility to meet production demands. Maintaining accurate administrative records and ensuring effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in place and adhered to. Leading and mentoring shift Process Operators, fostering a culture of purposefulness, motivation, and continuous improvement. Identifying areas for improvement through data-driven analysis, implementing permanent solutions and validating efficiency gains. Developing and maintaining the layout of production lines, ensuring safety and productivity through Lean Manufacturing principles. Building strong relationships and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, including engineering and technical teams, to ensure best practice implementation. Key Skills: Extensive manufacturing experience with a strong background in continuous improvement methodologies such as TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Kaizen. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes in highly automated environments, preferably within FMCG industries Demonstrates resilience, positivity and a can-do attitude, with excellent communication, coaching and interpersonal skills.
