Job description: Here at FBC UK, we are looking for a Hygiene Manger to provide direction and support to all the Hygiene team members, managing and facilitating their performance and development. Main responsibilities: Ensure that all areas of the factory are maintained to exceptionable standards of hygiene in a cost effective manner without affecting production efficiency. Manage and develop the hygiene teams, and drive a continuous improvement approach to cleaning methods. Responsible for H&S within the Hygiene Department Ensure conformance to site Health and Safety requirements by managing behaviours, trends, incidents and audits To maintain awareness with Retailer Code of Practice regarding Hygiene requirement's, Water Quality, inc swabbing/testing regimes and Pest Control, regularly reviewing and updating practices when necessary. To manage the cleaning schedules, ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion, reviewing frequency as required and spending time on each cleaning shift periodically To act as a monitor with regard to hygiene across the site, ensuring appropriate hygiene standards are implemented and maintained. To ensure continuous improvement in hygiene methods and activities to support operations and greater business targets. To carry out site Hygiene Audits on time with the site internal GMP, H&S and Management audit schedules To support the environmental management system by driving improvements in hygiene cleaning methods and managing waste disposal effectively What are the key ingredients for the role? Planning and Organising Organises and schedules projects, tasks and resources. Set up and monitor timescales and plans. Numeracy and Literacy - Good basic knowledge of both. Job description: About the Role This role is crucial in developing the strategy for Edinburgh's Continuous Improvement journey. Reporting to the Group Manufacturing Improvement manager, you will be responsible for creating ad delivering the annual continuous improvement plan, while providing support to the site to deliver our longer-term objectives. As a member of the site leadership team, you will work closely with the Engineering and Operations departments to contribute to implement initiatives to add value and remove cost / waste, as well as supporting the the overall leadership of the site.
