A brand new role is now available for a multi skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias to join a market leading manufacturing business at their facility in Somerset.
The Successful Maintenance engineer will be experienced with PPMS and machine breakdowns and have ideally worked in a manufacturing business before.
You will be required to work to a high standard and delivery excellent customer service, you will need to plan and manage your workload to ensure that jobs are attended and completed within timescales and are completed right first time, reducing the need for any further follow up visits.
Identification of the work required to resolve the problem, including deciding on required parts and general materials needed.
To provide a repairs and maintenance service to over 5,600 communal areas, tenanted properties and empty homes to the council's standards, statutory requirements, and relevant building regulations.
Building works, plastering working in occupied properties .
This role is critical to ensure our housing stock in maintained to statutory legislation and repairs are completed to prescribed timescales, such as resolving defects causing damp and mould as detailed in the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023.
