The Surveyor will be responsible for disrepair works, dealing with insurance claims and arranging of remedial repairs following loss. Client Details Our client is the largest landlord in the area, managing well over 10,000 properties on behalf of the Council and Private Landlords. Description As a building surveyor, you will be focused on housing disrepair (Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 Section 11 repairs) Responsible for managing insurance claims Arranging of remedial repairs following loss, e.g. after a fire or flood Occasional support to the wider team with complex responsive repairs and resolution of complaints from tenants 65% desk based dealing with specifications and writing reports and 35% on site conducting surveys Profile A successful Interim Surveyor should have: Experience working in the social housing sector (housing maintenance contracts, pricing policies and arrangements) Knowledge and experience of the housing disrepair protocol Experienced in the preparation of reports, specifications, scott schedules and witness statements.
