My client and established and expanding Fire Protection solutions provider are currently looking to recruit an experienced Field Service / Maintenance Engineer, specialising in Fire Suppression Systems.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for attending assigned visits to customer sites and premises nationwide to perform scheduled electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault diagnoses and repair of fire suppression detection systems.
Ensuring system serviceability testing and all paperwork in completed and assigned after job completion.
Carry out ongoing maintenance activities, including conduction routine maintenance checks, responding to and diagnosing and fixing breakdown problems in order to minimize unplanned down time and to ensure a permanent fix is put in place and root cause is identified and documented.
Monitor the performance of equipment after repairs have been carried out.
Fitting new parts and making sure all equipment is working correctly and is compliant with safety and legislative standards To ensure good communication with managers and workers throughout the business.
