Fitter / Turner Position Overview
Operate manual and computer-controlled machinery, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to manufacture components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
They have a requirement for an experienced fitter and machine operator to work in their busy machine shop to manufacture and assemble mechanical sections and sub-assemblies of their products.
Based just north of East Grinstead, operating their manual mills and lathes, you will be working from mechanical drawings, producing, repairing and upgrading assemblies and sub-assemblies as required.
