A1 Personnel are recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter/ Operator on behalf of our client based in South WoodhamFerrers. Responsibilities: Using various measuring equipment (Verniers / Micrometers / Height gauge / Shadowgraphetc.) to ensure all parts conform to customer standards. Setting a variety of mills, both 3 and 5 axis. Setting and proving out new programs and providing feedback to the programmer. Deburring work in cycle where possible. Read and understand engineering drawings. Maintaining general cleanliness and housekeeping standards. Ensure all work is completed in line with the production plan. Requirements: 5 years Milling experience. The ability to carry out first off, self-inspection and final inspection. Experience machining a wide range of materials. Experience setting 5 axis mills Experience with Heidenhain controls The ability to work and communicate within a team. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
