Key Skills Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering Experience within a PLC Automated Environment Understanding of PPM Systems within Manufacturing The Roles The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day electrical and mechanical engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for fault diagnostics and repair of a wide variety of automated machines and processes including industrial batch washers, presses, conveyor systems, dryers, ironers, folders, stackers and shrink wrap machines. They will also be responsible for the upkeep of the water filtration and boiler softening plant as well as the boilers themselves. This job also involves various PPM tasks and project works. Your new role Your new role will see you joining the consultancy as a Civil Design Engineer, as either an experienced Project or Senior Engineer. You will join the dedicated Design and Construct teams, currently delivering an expanding workload for your clients on a number of D&C frameworks throughout the UK. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be degree qualified, and for more senior positions have professional qualifications with either the ICE or IStructE.
