PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO THE LOCATION, YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN VEHICLE The primary responsibilities will involve mixing powders for the manufacturing, baking cookies, and labelling and filling products. Full training will be provided to the successful applicant, but previous production experience would be beneficial. The role will involve: 1. Baking Cookies: Prepare and bake specialized equine supplement cookies according to established recipes and procedures and food safety guidelines. Ensure precise measurements and adherence to quality standards to produce consistent and high-quality products. Monitor baking equipment and troubleshoot any issues to maintain optimal performance. 2. Mixing Powders: Accurately measure and mix various supplement powders according to formulation guidelines. Utilise mixing equipment efficiently and safely to achieve uniform blends. Follow batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain batch traceability and quality control. 3. Labelling Products: Apply labels to products with precision and attention to detail. Ensure compliance to company standards for labelling and packaging. 4. Quality Assurance: Conduct visual inspections of finished products and packaging materials to identify any defects or deviations from specifications. Report any quality issues or concerns to supervisors promptly. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of production areas to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination. 5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other production team members to achieve production goals and deadlines. Communicate any challenges or suggestions for process improvement to supervisors or management. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment conducive to productivity and teamwork.
