Stock Administrator Working for a well-respected National electrical wholesaler. We are recruiting for an experienced administrator to handle a busy and varied role and ensure the administration process in the branch runs smoothly. Hours full time (40 hour week) ie. 8am-5pm or some flex. £13.15 ph Duties include .. Data entry of stock items Raising credit and debit notes Booking stock on to the system Booking returns on the system Opening and dealing with post Raising cheque requests for suppliers Process cancelled picking notes Cost adjustments Process expenses Petty cash custodian Archive and filing at the end of the year Answering customer telephone calls and generally assisting with adhoc duties. We need a good communicator who has the ability to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative. Previous experience in a similar role with accounts administration would be ideal.

Your new role As a Stock Control Administrator your role will form part of the Supply Chain function working closely alongside procurement, supply and stock management activities for the business. Duties will include: Ensuring accurate stock management and records. Issues request for the purchase of stock in a timely manner based on stock requests and processing stock movements on in house system. Responsible for expediting orders. Ensuring order confirmation accuracies. Receipt of deliveries and cross-referencing of delivery notes ensuring accuracy. Ensuring component/raw material returns are processed and recorded. Adherence to company health & safety procedures. Communication with the Purchasing Manager to ensure sufficient stock levels. Manage supplier performance. What you'll need to succeed Strong numerical and interpersonal skills. Experience of SAP desirable. Accurate data recording. Ability to develop a working knowledge of departmental procedures. Good computer skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure. The ability to work as part of a team and independently using initiative. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to check quality documentation.
