Project Accounts Assistant Location: London (Hybrid working model) Salary Range: £28,000 - £33,500 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Project Accounts Assistant within our international organisation. This role is integral to supporting our financial operations, with a focus on day-to-day project finances and the monthly finance cycle. You will be part of a dedicated finance team and work closely with our Programmes Team to ensure smooth financial management across our client-funded programmes. Day to Day of the role: Manage consultant timesheet compliance and invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contracts and terms. Handle project expenses for consultants and suppliers, including logging, verification, and reconciliation against receipts. Process advance requests for travel, ensuring proper sign-off and reconciliation. Conduct reporting by uploading project finance data to Aidstream quarterly to maintain compliance. Serve as the main point of contact for consultants regarding invoice and payment queries. Review monthly timesheets, ensuring all are entered correctly and chasing any incomplete submissions. Provide backup and support to the Accountant as needed, including during periods of leave or high demand. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience working within a finance team. Strong communication skills and a team player. Flexible and able to multitask effectively. Numerate with a keen eye for detail. Self-motivated with strong time management skills. Ability to work to tight deadlines and organise and prioritise workload. Conscientious and client-focused. Desirable: Project Accounting experience. International Development Experience.
