About the Procurement Analyst role: As our Procurement Analyst, you will support EU SCJ Professional (SCJP), the Associate Manager role will execute procurement and supply chain strategies for SCJP direct material suppliers that ensure delivery of business objectives including Customer Service, Cost, Cash, Quality, Innovation and Sustainability. This position will work cross-functionally to deliver on supplier performance measurements, customer service and SCJP EU business support, and drive continuous improvement process for Raw/Pack suppliers, owning operational excellence. The role will lead cross functional change on behalf of the procurement organization, influences organizational processes and standards to improve SCJP EU supply chain performance. The key responsibilities of our Procurement Analyst will include: Managing suppliers and works/leads cross-functionally with SCJP stakeholders (e.g. Planning, Quality, etc.) to ensure suppliers meet SCJP requirements. Leading implementation of SCJP sourcing strategies and supply resilience improvements. Proactively assessing supplier capacity and initiates improvements with suppliers and stakeholders to increase supply chain reliability and efficiency. Ensuring supply/material availability at internal facilities and assists in supporting 3PM supply. Providing insights, recommendations and executes sourcing strategies and cost savings. Previous experience / knowledge required of our Procurement Analyst: Essential Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operation Management, Engineering, or Finance or relevant military experience considered in lieu of degree requirements Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field. Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred). Competencies, behaviors and aptitudes required of our Procurement Analyst: Procurement experience with raw materials (e.g. surfactants, resins, solvents) and packaging (e.g. plastic bottles, labels, corrugate) Proven track record in building relationships and strategic alliances internally and externally Strong financial acumen and stakeholder influencing skills. Procurement Business Analyst Remote £250/d Inside IR35 6 Months Contract Leicester We currently have an exciting opening with our Financial Services client for a junior level Procurement Analyst. As a purchasing analyst within the Directs Procurement team, your role is pivotal in in extracting insights from various data sets, to claim rebates and support the Directs Procurement Team to make informed and data driven procurement decisions. This is a remote working role with occasional visits to our Leicester office so you will need to be in a commutable distance. Responsibilities will include: Looking at process and how they can be improved Overseeing the rebate process, ensuring that all eligible rebates are claimed and reconciled in a timely manner. Analyse large sets of spend data using a Data Model prepare regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into procurement performance, cost savings, and compliance with purchasing policies and procedures. Your analysis will help procurement team and category managers make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes. Define and document current procurement processes, workflows, and procedures, taking a proactive approach to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Required Experience: Background in Energy is beneficial Advanced Excel skills essential Power BI skills would be advantageous. A proven eye for detail with a strong understanding of working with Big Data sets. Knowledge of Power BI is desirable.
