The main purpose of Digital Forensics Officer is to assist the Digital Forensic unit in providing a quality, high specification analytical and evidential service for the stakeholders of West Mercia Police which can robustly stand up to scrutiny of the legal profession and to ensure that Quality Standards including The International Organization for Standardization 17025/17020 and the Forensic Science Regulators (FSR) Codes of practice are maintained and adhered to.
