Ideally, you will be from a Curriculum Design / Management background within the training & apprenticeship industry, seeking your next challenge. The focus of the role is to manage the curriculum offer across all Early Years programmes. This will also entail mentoring and support processes within each of the programmes delivered. The Curriculum lead will be involved in the instructional design, including user experience, visual, universal design principles in digital learning, extensive experience in the development of course to VLE's, app development, and course construction. Key Responsibilities Plan and design face to face and blended digital sequential curriculum to promote the attainment of retainable Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSB) making reasonable adjustments to meet the individual needs of learners across a wide variety of provisions (including but not restricted to: Apprenticeships, Adult learning, and short study programme). To line manage the experienced Skills Teacher team to maximise the quality of delivery. To monitor and maintain all delivery models in line with best practice and legislative requirements. Identifying priority training needs to support current delivery, business growth and development. Managing and improving the content of existing/purchased training materials. Develop and deliver tailored bespoke training to customers Revising and updating training programmes based on changes to Contracts/Programmes Support delivery teams in implementing training programmes Researching, designing and producing staff/management training materials to support the Training Calendar Advising Management on opportunities to extend and co-ordinate the range of customer programmes across the business and developing new innovative programmes Identifying quality resources for use within the business Supporting staff to identify, work towards and obtain relevant qualifications required by Awarding Organisations and Trailblazer Groups To be considered for this opportunity it's expected you'll be an experienced professional, within the Apprenticeships sector at a senior level - you'll be used to implementing new ideas, and managing staff. Ideally, with previous handlings of OFSTED, with qualifications such as TAQA (or equivalent, D32/D33) and a working knowledge of VLE / LMS content
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our School Management Team for a Team Leader - Adult & Community Learning. Supporting the Deputy Head and Head of School, you will support colleagues in the curriculum team to raise the quality of education for all provision. The Team Leader will support the school and team by leading on a particular theme or area in relation to the school's objectives or curriculum, such as safeguarding or progression. You will coordinate day-to-day operations of distance learning programs and schedule NCFE courses whilst ensuring that all courses meet the needs, standards and requirements of all partners, including, Wandsworth Borough, Awarding Bodies and employers. We'd like our Team Leader to hold a degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and have excellent current teaching skills, recognised as a good or better teacher. You will demonstrate knowledge of the FE sector, including funding streams and the adult education agenda, and have a thorough understanding of quality assurance and improvement processes and how these can be used to enhance the student experience. With high personal standards and expectations, you will have experience of managing, supporting and developing staff and of successfully monitoring and supporting 'at-risk' learners to achieve or exceed their potential.You will be receptive to new ideas and initiatives and have a creative approach to problem solving. Please note that this post is funded for the 2024/25 academic year so the successful candidate would not be expected to commence in post prior to August 2024. Subject to a cost of living review from 1 August, the successful candidate will be eligible for any subsequent increase in salary.
