Accounts Assistant Location: Brimsdown Job Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday from 09:00 - 17:30 £13 - £15 per hour An established organisation is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working within a team, and has experience with QuickBooks. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will handle various accounting tasks and contribute to the smooth running of the finance department. Day-to-day of the role: Manage all aspects of purchase and sales invoices. Chase outstanding payments over the telephone and maintain customer relations. Process sales invoices with accuracy and efficiency. Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure records are correct and up to date. Process and allocate payments, ensuring financial transactions are recorded correctly. Raise credit and debit notes as required, managing adjustments in financial records. Work with Accountants in recording transactions correctly (external accountants visit on regular basis to deal with queries) General admin tasks /duties Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role. Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential. Working knowledge on Microsoft word / XL Ability to work effectively as part of a small team. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
