Seeking a Management Accountant to join a global consultancy firm for a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the opportunity for extension. The Management Accountant will be responsible for performing accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations, reporting, and ad hoc analysis. This role will work closely with the Finance Manager in a small team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and investigate monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, VAT, and PAYE Assist in the preparation of ad hoc reports for the front office Perform monthly and quarterly VAT returns and payment preparation Review and post salary journals and PAYE Assist in the preparation of quarterly bonus payments Assist with process documentation and process improvements Skills & Experience Required: Intermediate Excel knowledge Evidence of commitment to a career in accountancy Excellent communication skills Either a 2:1 degree or relevant work experience, including a good working knowledge of double entry/bookkeeping Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
