BASIC SALARY: £24,000 - £29,000 BENEFITS: 25 Days Holiday Stats Pension Healthcare Free Parking LOCATION: Warrington COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Wigan, Liverpool, Stockport, St Helens, Bolton, Preston JOB DESCRIPTION: Project Coordinator, Production Coordinator, Production Administrator, Order Processor - Manufacturer, Signage, Labels The successful Project Coordinator/Production Coordinator will manage projects from point of sale through to delivery/installation and will be involved at every step throughout the project/order process. The process involves checking large amounts of information that is received in Excel format. You will enjoy checking data, designing labels using our software with attention to minor details. You will be communicating all aspects of the project directly with the customer and this part of "Project and Account Management" will be vital in making a success of the role. This is a role for someone who wants to see things through to the end and genuinely takes a pride in the work that they undertake. Your duties will include: Extensive use of Excel and manipulation of data sets. Designing, proofing, and producing labels and signage. Submitting data files ready for sign off, arranging and overseeing delivery / installation. Managing customer expectations and ensuring all data required is collected ahead of deadlines. Communicating daily with on-site installation teams, responding to their queries. Administer and develop customer accounts efficiently, and provide reporting and analysis of various subjects of interest to relevant parties. The Candidate; Experience of working as a Freight Forwarder within import & export Multi-modal experience, ideally sea & road freight A strong understanding of shipping lines and suppliers Customs entry and clearance experience is highly desirable Knowledge of customs paperwork and procedures Up to date knowledge of import and export regulations Good organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads Strong customer service skills Ability to communicate effectively and clearly Confident decision making and negotiating Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Ability to apply judgment and take the initiative. Take responsibility for the accurate preparation, completion, dispatch, and delivery of various cargoes from multiple locations, ensuring correct documentation and processes for all relevant parties. Accurately calculate shipping and delivery costs, and prepare and distribute shipping documentation and information. Utilize multimodal solutions effectively to meet customer requirements, including container, road, rail, air, and sea shipments. Travel to different locations and offer remote services, coordinating activities where necessary, and completing all required documentation. Work under pressure and sometimes to strict deadlines, occasionally outside of normal office hours. Provide accurate information to tight deadlines and precise costs to internal and external stakeholders. Plan, obtain costs, and quote for end-to-end multimodal services. Plan, deliver, and record all work undertaken using Group systems as directed.
