SCCS Survey equipment is currently looking for a Service Technician to come and join our team. The role will be office based, with occasional travel between the sites and you will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary. About the Service Technician role: As our Service Technician your purpose is to repair, service and calibrate a range of electronic surveying equipment and to provide technical assistance to SCCS customers and staff. Key responsibilities as our Service Technician will include: Service, repair and calibration of a variety of surveying equipment to manufacturers specifications Carry out fault diagnosis to module or component level as required. Interaction with logistics and repairs teams to facilitate timely processing of instruments. Ensuring all tooling is within calibration. To ensure that the average turn-around time is in line with company objectives. Working with other departments to ensure any problems/issues are dealt with quickly and in a professional manner - Ensure ESD procedures are adhered to. Stock control of spare parts. What we're looking for in our Service Technician: Strong communication (verbal and written). High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively and constructively in a team environment or independently. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Our prestigious client is looking for additional Temporary admin support within the finance department as a Finance Administrator whilst they upgrade their ERP system. The temporary assignment for the Finance Administrator is to start immediately and the workload is expected to cover until August (potentially extended through to September) The Finance Administrator must have attention to detail, be dedicated to cover the full term of cover and have experience within the following: Responsibilities: Posting invoices Banking transactions to ERP Filing Cash chasing.
