As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Shift Production Leader with a strong background in maintenance and with a strong technical knowledge. Position Overview As a Shift Production Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing our production operations during your designated shift. You will be responsible for leading a team of production staff, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely. In addition to your production leadership responsibilities, you will utilise your maintenance and technical expertise to troubleshoot equipment issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, set up PPM and implement these preventive maintenance plans to minimise downtime and optimise production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise production staff to achieve daily production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Utilise technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement timely solutions to minimise production downtime. Conduct routine maintenance tasks and inspections to ensure equipment operates smoothly and efficiently. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures and maximise uptime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify and implement process improvements. Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels. Train and mentor production staff on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance. Qualifications HNC or equivalent technical qualification Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production leadership role within a manufacturing environment. Great housekeeping and knowledge of 5S principles Strong technical background with knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery. Proven experience in troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing effective solutions. Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced production environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
